It allows you to efficiently screen all rules of origin for a single country, helping you build a comprehensive overview of the processing requirements your products must meet to qualify for preferential treatment under Free Trade Agreements.
Currently, our search engine covers only Rules of Origin from the European Union perspective.
How the Search Works: A Quick Guide

Enter Your Product
Start by entering an HS code (from 2 to 10 digits). Suggestions will appear as you type to help you find the correct heading.

Choose Your View
Select how you want to display the results. You can view them aggregated Per Agreement or broken down individually Per Country (Contracting Partner).

Apply Filters
Narrow your results by filtering for specific agreements or countries. The "Select All" option is on by default to give you a complete overview.

Select Description Mode
Choose how to handle HS headings with multiple rules. The default Multiple setting shows all rules, while Single lets you select the one specific product description you need.

Click "Search" to see the processing rules laid out side-by-side, allowing for easy comparison across different agreements and markets.

Tailored Search Modes for Your Needs
The tool features several powerful filtering options to provide you with the precise information you need.
Multi-HS Code Mode
This mode is perfect if your exports are concentrated in one market but cover a diverse product portfolio. It allows you to display the specific processing rules for up to five different HS codes under a single trade agreement. This gives you a consolidated and comparative view for your key products destined for a particular trade partner.
Single HS Code Mode
For a broader, global perspective, this mode displays all applicable rules of origin for a single HS code across all of the export country's trade agreement partners. You can view the results in two distinct ways:
- Per Agreement: This aggregates the rules for all contracting countries within a specific agreement, providing a harmonized overview.
- Per Country: This displays the rules individually for each partner country, allowing for detailed, country-specific analysis.
Refine Your Search with Product Description Mode
By default, the search engine fetches all processing rules listed under a selected HS heading. However, some headings in Free Trade Agreements contain multiple rules that are differentiated by specific product descriptions. The Product Description Mode allows you to refine your search by selecting only the description that matches your product, instantly filtering the results to display the single, relevant processing rule.

Please be aware that our search engine focuses on the main working and processing annexes found within free trade agreements. It is designed to provide a clear and consistent overview of the core requirements and does not include additional specific or time-bound processing annexes.
